The four visibility levels
Public: anyone can visit. Link-only: not listed anywhere public; only people with the link can open it. Owner-only: only you can see it when logged in, good for drafts in progress. Password: visitors must enter the password you set.
Which one to pick
Want reach? Go public. Sharing with specific people? Use link-only or password. Still editing? Keep it owner-only for now.
Password access works well for sharing unfinished drafts with partners or previewing deliverables with clients.
Can I change it after publishing?
Yes. Visibility is not a one-time choice at publish time. A common pattern is sending a password-protected version to a client first, then switching to public once it is approved.
Expiry time
You can set an expiry when publishing; leaving it empty means the page never expires. After expiry, public access is refused. To bring it back, set a new future date. This suits event pages and time-limited invitations.
Safety checks
Submitted pages go through a safety check covering file size, structure, text and external links. Visitor numbers are temporarily limited while the check runs, and the limit lifts once it passes.
If a page fails, the interface explains why and what to fix. Make the change and publish again.
