Have the AI modify the element you select

Select the element on the canvas first, then tell the AI what to change. The AI knows exactly what you picked, so it only touches that part.

Select first, then speak

Click the element you want to change on the canvas, such as a paragraph or an image, then open the AI edit panel. The AI now knows exactly what you are pointing at.

You can also chat without a selection, but then the AI has to guess the target, and changes tend to be broader.

How to describe the change

Ask for the outcome directly: "keep this paragraph under two lines", "make the background light gray", "stack these two columns vertically".

When numbers matter, write them down: font size, spacing, color values. Then the AI has nothing to guess.

Preview before you decide

AI changes never overwrite the page directly. They arrive as a proposal you can preview. Accept if it looks right, reject if not.

If something feels off after accepting, undo restores the previous state.

Two scopes of change

Small changes only touch the element you selected and what is around it. A big rework may replace the whole page, and the interface will say so.

For full-page replacements, preview first and make sure nothing is lost before accepting.

Wrong element or changed your mind?

Just select another element. If a generated proposal is no longer wanted, reject it; the page stays untouched.
